How the BP oil spill might affect the 2010 mid-terms, part V

Has anyone seriously thought they would want President Obama to do? Seriously?

The government has deregulated, privatized, and outsourced such technical expertise for the past few decades, to the point where its allowed industry leaders write their own regulations. Can someone point out the Office of Oil Spill clean-up? Does the military have the technology to fix an oil leak 5000 feet below sea level? Really? Tell me when its done that!

And Sarah "drill baby drill" Palin tries score political points with the donation BP gave Obama. Well, which is it Tea Baggers. Is Obama being "un America"- according to Rand Paul- by saying he'll "put the boot on the throat" of BP, or is he too "cozy" with the oil companies, according to Sarah Palin?

The fact is this oil leak is unprecedented, which is undeniable. Obama will say that in his press conference tomorrow, for which he'll be mocked by Fox News.

There is a good chance this leak will NEVER be fixed, and the GOP would like nothing more than for Obama to shove aside BP and take "ownership" of this oil leak despite the federal government's lack of expertise and technology, that way the federal government could be correctly blamed for the continual spilling of oil as opposed to pinning the blame on their precious "free market" and "private corporations", whose failures become publicly owned.
